The College is fortunate that so many of our girls bring great credit to their school. Their diligence, can-do attitudes, perseverance and intelligence ensure that they continue to “Strive for the Highest”. Penrhos students often gain high recognition, having performed at a very high level and won many major competitions in art, speech & drama, mooting, mock trials, debating, photography, sport, science, creative writing, languages and music. They have also excelled in the areas of dance, public speaking, future problem solving and chess – to name a few.

Congratulations!

Penrhos College congratulates 2011 Leavers Aimee Hughes, Moira O’Brien-Smith and Julia Seymour on being named recipients of the prestigious John Curtin Undergraduate Scholarship.

The Curtin University of Technology’s most prestigious and generous scholarship program is awarded annually to 12 academically talented students who display John Curtin’s qualities of vision, leadership and community service. Scholarship recipients – who span a wide range of disciplines – demonstrate outstanding qualities and initiate projects that are, or will be, of great value to the community.

Aimee, Moira and Julia join Penrhos Alumni members Kaidee Arnold 2007, Natasha Stanford 2008, Kate Frusher 2009, Sarah Power 2009, Carly Thompson 2009 and Courtney Meagher 2010 as recipients of this prestigious award.
