Penrhos College is a Uniting Church, day and boarding school for girls from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. We are happy to accept applications for any Year level at any time, but please note that applications are processed in order of receipt, with entry to Pre-Kindy, Kindergarten, Year 5, and Year 7 being particularly in demand.

An early registration is encouraged, though not always essential as vacancies do occur. Our Enrolments Team can advise you on whether places are available in your desired Year level and answer any questions you may have throughout the enrolment process.

Prospective families are encouraged to attend a tour event or contact the College to make an appointment for a personal tour.

Enrolment Process

Your application is the first stage of enrolling your daughter at Penrhos College. It is an expression of interest and not a formal commitment by either yourself or the College.

Applications are processed in order of receipt* and your daughter’s place on the waitlist will be allocated based on the date of the original application.

*Preference is given to siblings of current students and to daughters/granddaughters of past students.

At the time of submitting an application form, you will be required to provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate, a current immunisation record and, if applicable, copies of her passport and family visa documents. The application fee is $150 per applicant (inclusive of GST).

When submitting an application form, you will be asked to provide the following documents:

  • The student’s birth certificate
  • 2 most recent school reports (Year 1 – 12 applicants only)
  • NAPLAN results (if applicable)
  • Passport Biodata page (if applicable)
  • Visa Grant letter (if applicable)

We place all students on a list of applicants requiring a place in their nominated Year level.

At Penrhos College, we commence offering places two years prior to student’s anticipated commencement date. Should your application be received within two years of the anticipated commencement date, you will hear from us more quickly.

The offer process begins with an invitation to attend an interview with the Head of Junior or Secondary School. Following a successful interview, the Enrolments Team will guide you through the formal Offer & Acceptance process.
