Being a member of the Penrhos College Alumni Committee can involve guiding decision-making around alumni engagement initiatives and activity, planning events, managing budget and volunteering your time for a range of activities. It is a fun and social way to stay active in College community life, with a little work on the side.
Message from the President of the Alumni Committee – Helen Carr
The spirit of our alumni is stronger than ever – this is brought to life when multi-generational families (including sisters and brothers, parents and grandparents) come together to celebrate their shared educational legacy.
Our 18-month Leavers’ Reunion is an opportunity for our youngest alumni to reconnect with friends and College staff – this year’s event will take place on Friday, 15 March at the Windsor Hotel. We love to hear where our graduates’ journeys beyond the College gates have taken them!
We look forward to connecting with fellow Penrhos alum and Wesley Old Boys at this year’s Shakers and Stirrers networking event, which takes place on Friday, 19 April. The popularity of this event has meant a move to a bigger venue. Secure your place and spread the word – tickets are available HERE. We hope to see you there!
This year, our annual Founders’ Day celebrations will take place on Tuesday, 5 September. On this special day, the Penrhos community – past and present – come together to acknowledge our College’s rich history and those who forged it. Our VIP guests are Old Girls from the Class of 1963 who celebrate their 60 Year Reunion and the Class of 1973 celebrating their 50 Year Reunion.
I’d like to most sincerely thank the members of our Alumni Committee, which has evolved immensely over recent years.
