Applying to Penrhos

Your application is the first stage of enrolling your daughter at Penrhos College. It is an expression of interest and not a formal commitment by either yourself or the College.

The following documents will be required with your application:

  • copy of birth certificate
  • current immunisation record
  • two most recent school reports (Years 1-12 only)
  • NAPLAN results (if applicable)
  • passport and family visa documents (if applicable)

Please note that there is an application fee of $150 per applicant (inclusive of GST).

Once your applications is complete:

  • Applications are processed by our Enrolments Team in order of receipt and you will receive written confirmation that your application has been received.
  • Your place on the waitlist is based on the date of your original application – therefore, the earlier you submit your application, the better!
  • Preference on the waitlist is given to siblings of current students, to daughters/granddaughters/nieces of past students, and to siblings of our brother school, Wesley College.

Confirming your enrolment

At Penrhos, we commence offering places two years prior to a student’s anticipated commencement date. Should your application be received within two years of the anticipated commencement date, our Enrolments Team will be in touch much sooner.

We accept students at any time throughout the year, depending on availability and capacity.

The offer process begins with an invitation to attend an interview with the Head of Junior School or Head of Secondary School. Following a successful interview, the Enrolments Team will guide you through the formal Offer & Acceptance process.

Family Confirming Fee

The Family Confirming Fee is a one-off, non-refundable, family-based fee that confirms each student's (and subsequent immediate family members') acceptance to Penrhos.

The Fee goes to the Penrhos College Foundation and is an investment in forging new futures in girls' education, ensuring that Penrhos continues to be at the forefront of education.

The Family Confirming Fee is not deductible from tuition fees and exists as a standalone fee, on top of tuition.

Early registration is always encouraged, though not always essential as vacancies do occur. Our Enrolments Team can advise you on whether places are available in your desired Year level and answer any questions you may have throughout the enrolment process.
