Anne Brennan (Halbert, 1987)

Dr Halbert graduated with honours from the University of Western Australia Medical Faculty in 1987, winning the AMA medal for first place. 

After training in dermatology in Perth she became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 1994. She then undertook a fellowship in paediatric dermatology and laser in Denver, Colorado. On returning to Perth she commenced private practice and became a sessional Consultant Dermatologist at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children (now Perth Children’s Hospital), where she was  Head of Department for seventeen years. She is interested in all aspects of neonatal, paediatric and adolescent dermatology. She regularly presents at the Australasian College of Dermatologists annual meetings and maintains a close association with the North American Society of Pediatric Dermatology. She teaches medical students, general practitioners, paediatric and dermatology trainees.
