Megan Searle (Hurley, 1995)
Megan joined the Royal Australian Air Force in 1997 as an officer cadet and spent three years at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) studying Aeronautical Engineering and then started Flying Training in 2000.
Megan embarked on five years on exchange with the Royal Australian Navy flying helicopters from ships including trips throughout North East Asia and the Middle East. She then returned to the Air Force to train as a fighter pilot. Megan is now a member of the VIP Squadron flying the Governor General, Prime Minister, Ministers and the Defence Chiefs where needed.
