Shubshri Kandiah (2012)

In 2018/19 Shubshri Kandiah starred as Jasmine in the lead role of the Perth season of Disney’s ‘Aladdin The Musical’, at the Crown Theatre. 

Shubshri also performed in the role in Brisbane and will tour with the show to Adelaide in 2019. At Penrhos, Shubshri took Music and Drama through to Year 12, and was a member of the Chorale, Jazz Voice Choir and Chamber Choir. She performed in the annual Dramafests and in school productions, as Miss Dorothy in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical the Musical. She also featured as Olive Ostrovsky in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, performed by the Year 12 Music students.
