Honouring Our 2025 Principal’s List Graduates

Our 2025 graduates achieved outstanding recognition through the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA), reflecting excellence across a broad range of learning areas.

8 Subject Certificates of Excellence were awarded across Drama, English, Mathematics Applications, Mathematics Methods, Modern History and Psychology, recognising students who ranked among the highest achievers in the state in their subjects.

24 Certificates of Distinction were awarded to students who achieved results placing them in the top tier of the state across multiple courses.

22 Certificates of Merit recognised strong academic performance and consistent achievement across a range of subjects.

Together, these results reflect the depth, breadth and consistency of academic excellence achieved by the Class of 2025, across diverse strengths and pathways.

Academic Awards Snapshot

This week, we proudly celebrated our 2025 graduates inducted onto the Principal’s List.

An incredible one in three ATAR students achieved results in the top 5% nationally, earning an outstanding 95+ ATAR. A truly remarkable achievement! We also recognised six VET students whose dedication and excellence across diverse pathways earned them a place on the Principal’s List.

We are thrilled to share a little snapshot of some of our graduates’ achievements, both in the classroom and across the College, along with a glimpse into the exciting ambitions they’re taking with them into the future.

Sian Kelly
Penrhosian since Year 2

Sian’s academic results place her among the highest achievers in the state, earning her recognition on the Principal’s List with a 95+ ATAR. She was also awarded a Certificate of Distinction and named Dux of the ATAR Pathway, reflecting consistent excellence throughout her senior years.

Beyond the classroom, Sian’s leadership was evident through her roles as Chapel Captain and Captain of Boat, balancing academic rigour with commitment to service and sport.

Where to next?
Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours), Curtin University

Sian hopes to pursue hospital pharmacy before studying medicine at a postgraduate level, with a long-term goal of working in rural emergency medicine. She plans to continue rowing, work as an academic tutor and coach, and is excited for the opportunities university life will bring.


Milla Karnady
Penrhosian since Year 7

Milla’s academic achievements include placement on the Principal’s List with a 95+ ATAR and a Certificate of Distinction.

Her talents extended well beyond academics, including being named 2025 Music Eisteddfod Year 10–12 Piano Champion, alongside involvement in Coltrane Jazz, Wind Orchestra, Maths Mentoring and IGSSA Golf.

Where to next?
Bachelor of Science, University of Sydney

Milla has been accepted into an assured pathway combining Science with a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics. She hopes to become an accredited dietitian and explore global opportunities throughout her career.


Venetia Lazidis 
Penrhosian since Year 7

Venetia’s academic success saw her recognised on the Principal’s List with a 95+ ATAR, complemented by a Certificate of Excellence in Drama.

A passionate contributor to College life, Venetia served as School Vice-Captain (Treasurer) and earned Colours across multiple academic, musical and dramatic pursuits, including Chorale, VOX and Wind Orchestra.

Where to next?
Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours), Curtin University

Venetia plans to transition into medicine, with a goal of specialising in paediatrics while remaining in Perth.

Charlotte Hall
Penrhosian since Year 6
VET Pathway

Charlotte’s inclusion on the Principal’s List (VET) recognises her success and engagement throughout her senior years.

She was also awarded the Year 12 Creative Arts Exhibition Award – Old Kobeelyan Association Photography Award, showcasing her creative talent.

Where to next?
Travelling through Europe

Charlotte plans to travel, work as an education assistant and potentially study Primary Education, with dreams of working as an au pair overseas.


Kate Clark
Penrhosian since Pre-Primary

Kate’s strong academic performance earned her a 95+ ATAR, placement on the Principal’s List and a Certificate of Merit.

As Academic Captain, Kate demonstrated exceptional leadership, while also achieving success as the Year 12 Speech and Drama Festival Winner.

Where to next?
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours), University of Western Australia

Kate plans to major in Mechanical Engineering and Music Studies, with aspirations to design sustainable infrastructure and contribute to humanitarian and crisis response initiatives, while keeping music and drama as creative outlets.


Julia Shipman
Penrhosian since Pre-Kindergarten

Julia achieved a 95+ ATAR, earning a place on the Principal’s List along with a Certificate of Excellence in Mathematics Applications.

Her musical excellence was recognised with two major honours at the 2025 Music Eisteddfod, including Champion Instrumental Solo (Woodwind) and Overall Champion.

Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Music, University of Western Australia

Julia plans to combine her love of music with a professional career in biomedical engineering, with hopes of travelling and expanding her expertise both within Australia and internationally.

Annabelle Rowe
Penrhosian since Year 5
VET Pathway

Annabelle was recognised on the Principal’s List (VET), celebrating her commitment and excellence within her chosen pathway.

Her sporting achievements include earning both an IGSSA Tennis Emblem and Colour, highlighting her dedication and performance in sport.

Bachelor of Health Sciences, University of Notre Dame

Annabelle hopes to continue into Nursing, with the goal of becoming a paediatric nurse.


Madeleine Pink
Penrhosian since Year 7

Madeleine’s academic achievements include a 95+ ATAR, Principal’s List recognition and a Certificate of Merit.

Her College awards reflect her breadth of talent, including the DramaFest Troy Dance Shining Star Award and the IGSSA Sportswoman’s Club Award.

Bachelor of Law, Curtin University

Madeleine aspires to a legal career, while continuing her athletic pursuits in track and cross country and saving for future travel adventures.


Bridget Hill
Penrhosian since Year 5

Bridget achieved an outstanding 95+ ATAR, securing her place on the Principal’s List, along with a Certificate of Excellence in Modern History, a testament to her analytical thinking and passion for global affairs.

Her College contributions include Colours in Mock Trials, Community Service and Future Problem Solving, as well as an impressive five Year 12 Course Awards.

Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours), University of Western Australia

Bridget will double major in Politics and International Relations and French Studies, with a minor in Creative Writing. With an Assured Pathway to a Juris Doctor, she aspires to a future in diplomacy, international law and public policy.
